Severn Vale School provides a CEIAG programme that far exceeds many of the Gatsby requirements. Rob Spooner is the member of SLT responsible for careers provision, while the careers programme is delivered day-to-day by Virginia Martin (Careers Leader) and Ryan Jordan-Steele (Careers Administrator) who work very closely with Heads of Year.

The school procures the services of an independent careers adviser, Georgie Blackburn enabling each student to have a personal 1:1 careers guidance interview at least once during KS4. In addition, Barry Hockaday's Futures programme provides targeted careers lessons from Year 8. In addition, CEIAG is seen as every member of staff's duty and as a result regular CEIAG activities take part within subject lessons and Unifrog is a school wide resource which gives up to date careers information by school subject.
