The Year 9 and 10 Girls' Rugby Team took part in their first tournament at Kingsholm on Friday 4th May, after only taking up the sport last term and having a total of 5 training sessions.

The girls did extremely well finishing in 4th place, often competing against schools with a lot more experience.  They played with a real determination and wore their hearts on their sleeve to ensure that all the hard work in training really paid off. We are looking forward to making Girls' Rugby a regular sport at Severn Vale School and building on this success.
